KTN News anchor Zubeidah Koome was treated to a surprise on national TV and during a flight with Kenya Airways.

After presenting the 7 PM news, the anchor was caught off- guard with a cake surprise and a photo poster, wishing her happy birthday from her colleagues.

Sharing a clip on social media, the Africa Nazarene graduate sent a message of gratitude to her colleagues.

“Nothing beats the feeling of knowing that there are people that love you…thank you for this birthday surprise @miss.ashafox @beckymuiruri @aggygakunga and for making me cry on National Television.”

Shortly after the televised surprise, Zubeidah was yet again surprised in-flight, by the Kenya Airways crew, in the presence of her family.

The captain called out her name to wish her a happy birthday before she was presented with a cake from the Kenya Airways crew.

While being cleared at the immigration line, after landing, she was again surprised with a birthday card.

Clearly the mother of two had a good day.
