Yvonne Okwara Warns Kenyans Of Facebook Fraudsters Soliciting Funds In Her Name

Citizen TV news anchor Yvonne Okwara has warned Kenyans about an impostor on Facebook who is soliciting funds for a children’s Home under her name.

She has warned the general public that the person managing the page was a fraudster. She gave this warning on her Instagram page.

Morning folks. There is yet another imposter on Facebook, supposedly collecting money for a children’s home. Please note this is not my page and the person running it, asking kind people out there for money is a fraudster. You are all generous people, but do not be fooled by this crook!”

Celebrities have fallen victim to fraudsters with the most recent being Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan.

She had her Instagram account hacked and the hackers demanding for Sh.400,000 so she could get back her account which has over 4 million followers.
