Alexis Sanchez failed to travel with Manchester United to USA for preseason tour on Sunday over visa hitch.
The Chilean star could not acquire the crucial travel document because he is currently serving a suspended jail term for tax fraud in Spain.
The former Arsenal forward evaded seeing inside the jail cell after parting with $1m in tax plus interest.
To keep in shape while the rest of the squad is away Sanchez was seen training alone at Man United’s Carrington.
While in Los Angeles the Jose Mourinho’s charges will play five friendlies over the two-week stay.
The Reds will face Club America on 19 July and San Jose Earthquakes on July 22.
They will then play three International Champions Cup matches against AC Milan (25 July), Liverpool (28 July) and Real Madrid (31 July).
