WhatsApp has unveiled new features which are meant to encourage subscribers to send even bigger files. The chat service now allows users to send any type of file up to 100MB. It was previously limited to sharing only documents of PDF type.
Some other new Whatsapp feature is the ability to see all your pictures and videos in the app camera by swiping upwards. The photos and videos will now be grouped into a gallery that only displays five images with the last thumbnail displaying how many additional photos have been sent.
The messaging service has also indicated that it will also stop compressing photos, as this will allow your original high quality to remain intact. Another important feature is the ability to bold, italicize and strikethrough a word by just tapping and holding the text to select it.

The recent changes follows the video calling, Whatsapp stories and other features launched last year.
