Isaiah Biwott, a Kenyan voter has moved to court seeking to dislodge the remaining IEBC Commissioners from office.
Biwott argues that the commission is not properly constituted as it is, owing to the exit of four commissioners. He wants the court to stop the commission from conducting any pending by-elections as well as boundary reviews.

“The commission lacks the requisite quorum to conduct or carry any business,” he argues.
Currently, only three commissioners are in office led by the IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati. Others include Boya Molu and Abdi Guliye.
Three of the commissioners, vice chair Consolata Nkatha, Paul Kurgat, and Margaret Mwachanya, resigned arguing that the Chairman has failed to provide guidance. The resignation has however been hit by controversy, with the chairman saying that he never received resignation letter from the three.
Another commissioner, Roseline Akombe resigned last year before the repeat polls citing external influence to the commission.
