The three said that the dress designed by international designer Claire Waight Keller under the Givenchy Haute Couture collection, was not all that and that it was big on her frame. They also criticized her minimalist make up saying that it was not well done.
Kenyans on twitter could hear none of the so called fashionistas remarks as they poured endless praise on the new princess.
Here are their comments regarding the dress and the replies from Kenyans:
Carole Odero Meghan’s gown: I expected it to be more princess like. It should have been more- The make up was also not outstanding #FashionWatch pic.twitter.com/g9oGyIvJBL

Does Carol think all women need make up to look good??

Carol Odero the difference between royalty and slay queens is simplicity! These people are very simple and this has brought them far. Slay queens would put 10 tones of makeup on their faces, fake eyelashes and the list continues. Exposure helps us become more mature and simple

Annabel Onyango who was also on the panel said that the outfit was baggy but Kenyans taught a thing or two about a classy and a trashy outfit.
Annabel Onyango on Meghan’s gown: I expected a little bit more…given all the wait and anticipation
I thought it was a bit baggy. These things need to be perfect but this wasn’t #FashionWatch pic.twitter.com/S46DIVLkbu

1. She was GORGEOUS!
2. Read her story. She went to an audition all made up and was told to remove the make up and fake hair and just be her. Defining moment in her life

She was stunning on her own way…! Was just perfect…i think sm wanted to see her in those tight or revealing clothes to say it was good..i understand though…i think women have issues with other women.?

Panelist Robert Burale however received praise for supporting the minimalist makeup look by the princess and said make up should not change your being but enhance it.
Ian Mbugua also got some backlash for speaking against the outfit.
