University of Nairobi (UoN) students have defied orders that required them to vacate the premises before 9 am Tuesday morning.
They have camped outside Vice Chancellor Professor Peter Mbithi’s office at the main campus demanding for a refund of their school fees.
They have accused Professor Mbithi of ‘wasting their time and money’ for closing the institution indefinitely without consulting them.
The VC cited a ‘deteriorating security situation.’
The students were on Thursday in running battles with the police while protesting for the release of former SONU chairman and Embakasi East MP Babu Owino’s release.
