The President, Uhuru Kenyatta will not attend the Presidential debate scheduled for 24th July, says his Senior Director of Communications, Dennis Itumbi.
The debate was pushed from 10 July because the president and his NASA counter-part, Raila Odinga threatened not to show up.
According to Jubilee Party’s Secretary General, Raphael Tuju, the organizers were hypocritical and arrogant. He said that they did not consult the President or the party about the planned debate.
