Kenyans were treated to a rare spectacle when the President traveled to Nyeri with a female Aide-de-Camp. This came as a surprise as it had never been seen before.
What many Kenyans did not know was that the woman in blue is actually the deputy to ADC Colonel Timothy Stelu Lekolol.

The female deputy ADC, Lieutenant Colonel Rachael Nduta Kamui was drawn from the Kenya Air Force and this was her maiden public appearance. Her roles are similar to those of the ADC which include receiving gifts on behalf the president, carrying his personal effects such as mobile phones and speeches and also attending to his other official needs.
The president was also accompanied by the State house spokesperson Kanze Dena.
