National Super Alliance ( NASA) leader Raila Odinga spoke on several issues but the main issues were directed towards President Uhuru Kenyatta’s attacks on the Supreme Court.
President Uhuru expressed his disapproval with the Supreme Court’s decision to nullify his win in the August 8 election and termed the move a “coup by four people sitting in court.”
“The judgment has shown the voice of the people matters no more. What matters is the voice of a few people, who arrogate to themselves powers they don’t have,” he said.
However, opposition leader Raila has struck back saying the Head of State has gone berserk.
“Like a cornered bloody-minded boxer, he is swaying on his feet, rocking the country and its institutions in a sudden flurry of desperate punches,” his statement read.
He warned that if President Uhuru does not stop he would be disrespecting the Constitution as well as the Kenyans who fought hard to create it.

Odinga claims the audit ordered by the Supreme Court revealed that around 80 constituencies reported problems with their results and that it affected up to 5 million votes.
“If the ruling by the Supreme Court was a coup, it could only be a counter-coup to stop the first one that was staged by a man who does not believe in free, fair, credible and transparent elections,” he said.
