President Uhuru Kenyatta was today on a campaign tour of the Capital city. The Jubilee party leader was out drumming up support for himself and the party’s nominated candidates.

In his speech, Uhuru asked Peter Kenneth to back out of the gubernatorial race and support Mike Sonko instead.

”I want to ask Peter Kenneth to respect the people’s will.”

The head of state asked the city residents to vote resoundingly for Super Senator Sakaja and the Rachel Shebesh as well as the members of parliament and county assembly.

He further warned against dividing the Jubilee vote like in 2013 where Ferdinand Waititu and Jimnah Mbaru fought for the same seat.

Kenyatta urged the people to give TEAM NAIROBI a chance to right the wrongs of the current county government.

”We know you have suffered under the current county leadership but we assure you that Sonko and his team will rectify that.”

The recently released TIFA poll showed that Senator Mike Sonko and the incumbent Evans Kidero would tie at 44 per cent.

Peter Kenneth enjoys only 4 per cent of the voters backing and his counterpart, Miguna Miguna 1 per cent of the votes.

Sonko had asked Kenneth to join his team, an offer the former Mp for Gatanga refused.
