A Ugandan murder suspect, Moses Muhangi, was last week arrested in Nairobi and then handed over to Ugandan police after being traced in the Kenyan city.

After escaping to Kenya, Muhangi posted on his Facebook wall: “I know we are going be together soon because I have nothing more left, for I pray that our babies find peace and Joy in this world. I love you.”

Moses is suspected to have murdered his girlfriend early this year in Kampala and came into hiding in Kenya. He is currently being detained at Katwe Police Station and will appear in Court any time.

Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, Patrick Onyango said the suspect was arrested by Interpol in Kenya and handed over to Ugandan authorities.

“Interpol Uganda requested their Kenyan counter to trace for and arrest the suspect for the alleged crime he committed in Kampala,” added Onyango.
