Two Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) officers are on the run after their colleagues ‘saved’ them from EACC detectives.
The two, Julius Oguma and Charles Macharia from Kabete Police Station were nabbed while soliciting a Sh.1 million bribe from a foreigner in Kiambu county.
The DCI officers who were handcuffed however escaped when their colleagues arrived at the scene shooting several rounds of ammunition, facilitating the two DCI officers escape.
