Two Arrested Over Murder of 20-Year Old Girl Stabbed

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have arrested two suspects in connection with the murder of a 20-year old girl.

In a statement issued on Saturday by the DCI, the authorities arrested the duo, Dominic Okoth and Simon Gitau in Buruburu.

The DCI further mentioned that the victim was found wounded in the neck and two of her phones taken.

It is noted that the detectives found the accused in possession of her phones.

Additionally, the DCI mentioned that they have launched further investigations into the case.

Their investigations include carrying out a Forensic Analysis of the Phones and other items found at the scene of the crime to establish the truth.

The two, Dominic and Simon, are now in custody of the Buruburu police awaiting their arraignment in court on Monday.

In a separate incident, the DCI also arrested four suspects who are linked to the assault of a varsity student.

The four include; Robert Momanyi, Collins Neriko, Stanley Rimbere, and Stephen Kimeu.

The DCI later stated that three of their other accomplices are still at large but are being sought by the office of the DCI.
