The government has declared Tuesday, November 28 a public holiday.
According to a gazette notice, the President elect, Uhuru Kenyatta will be sworn in at the Moi International Sports Center, Kasarani at 10 am.
Government spokesperson, Eric Kiraithe said 20 heads of state have confirmed their attendance. 1,600 VIPs were expected, among them former US President Barack Obama.
Opposition leader, Raila Odinga is allegedly going to be sworn in on the same date as Kenyatta at Uhuru Park.
Odinga has insisted that the Jubilee government is illegitimate and rigged him out of the August 8 election in collaboration with the IEBC, IT firm OT-Morpho and Safaricom.
He has said that he beat Kenyatta with over 1 million votes in the nullified election.

Uhuru was declared the duly elected President by IEBC Chairman, Wafula Chebukati after the repeat polls held on October 26.
The Jubilee party leader garnered 7.4 million votes, which were 98 per cent of the votes cast.
