Truecaller Looking To Set Up Headquarters In Africa

truecallerThe famous mobile app company Truecaller has announced that they will be expanding their operations on the African continent.

The expansion will come with the set up of a headquarters in Africa as the company aims to target a larger audience.

Starting November, executives from the companies will travel to South Africa and Nigeria as they look for the most ideal location to set up a headquarters.

Truecaller added that they will employing key personnel to aid in its operations and will also be looking for directors capable of filling the roles of Business Development Director and a Sales Director.

The mobile app is reported to be one of the leading consumer apps across the continent with 50 million users and has been a the top of App Store Charts for the past two years.

“The tremendous growth we’ve had across Africa the past two years has truly been amazing and yet we feel it is still only the starting point of what is about to come. With the positive momentum, we are confident this is the right timing for us to expand our presence and start engaging more deeply with the eco-system.” said Ted Nelson, Chief Commercial Officer at Truecaller.
