An accident involving a train and a Toyota Wish has occurred this morning near Mutindwa Area. The driver of the car escaped unscathed and no casualties have been reported.
The driver and a passenger managed to jump out of the car as they saw the train approaching and had their car dragged for a few meters before the train stalled.
The location of the accident is notorious for accidents as it is the same spot that killed passengers in an Umoinner bus back in 2013.
Drivers have been advised to slow down and observe road rules before crossing the rail road.
