Motorists along Ngong Road have been warned to expect traffic disruption from next Monday until April 5.

Making the announcement, Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) stated that there will be minor construction taking place along that highway.

KURA noted that China Center and Prestige Plaza will be most affected by the operation as the authority seeks to improve the road network in the area.

Motorists have been urged to cooperate and use diversion lanes that will be provided for by KURA.

The road is under the Nairobi Regeneration Program and is scheduled to be completed before July.

Speaking on the construction, KURA director general Silas Kinoti noted that the agency had divided the construction project into three slots of 32km, 25.5km and 22.8km road networks.
