Teams Cry Foul After Being ‘Duped’ By SportPesa’s ‘Kit for Africa’ Initiative

Teams from Kisumu County who benefited from SportPesa’s “Kit for Africa” initiative are up in arms claiming they were given assorted kits that they cannot use.

50 teams were given the kits donated by players, staff and supporters of European sides Everton, Hull City, Arsenal, Southampton and Torino, who are SportPesa partners.

The function took place at Barclay Ground, Kisumu and was attended by County honchos including Deputy Governor Dr. Mathews Owili.

“Why would they call us only to be given uniforms of assorted colors – green, red, yellow etc.

He added; “It would have made economic sense to attend to send even six uniforms but of the same color. We can’t use these things.
