Angry protesters on Saturday morning blocked the narrow Beijing Road, Syokimau.

The irate residents explained that a clearing and forwarding company identified as Acceler Global Logistics has turned the road into a parking lot for its trucks.

The trucks, Kahawa Tungu understands cause major traffic snarl ups mostly in the morning and evening.

“We have been complaining for months and this company’s trucks come and park here every day which affects our movement in and out of our homes,” a witness told Nairobi News.

The residents noted that they have tried to reach out to the company but their complains have gone unanswered.

The protests began at 4 am.
