Former National Lands Commission (NLC) Muhammad Swazuri will alongside 10 others spend the Easter weekend in custody pending bond hearing on Tuesday.

NLC paid a sum of Sh109 million to Tornado Carriers Limited and C.W Chege and Co. Advocates.

In a statement, Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji ordered their arrest and charges against them including conspiracy to commit and economic crime, abuse of office and financial misconduct.
