Supreme Court Rejects Presidential Petition

The Deputy Registrar of the Supreme court Daniel Ole Keiwua has rejected a petition challenging the presidential results of Uhuru Kenyatta saying that the issues raised were not clearly highlighted and were not in direct relation to the presidential results

The petition is said to have been filed by, Juma Kenyatta-Awori Marie who raised issues on the bill of rights which did nor directly touch on the presidential results.

Mr. Ole Keiwua said that the issues raised could be handled at the high court as it had the jurisdiction over the matter.

The petion mentions the following personalities; Inspector General of Police, IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati, Attorney General Githu Muigai, Embakasi East Mp elect Babu Owino, and Raila Odinga.

The petition touches on destruction of property, entrapment of the president and gross human rights violation.

There registrar also noted that were also no affidavits attached to it.
