Asman Kamama, the former MP for Tiaty has vilified NASA plan to swearing in saying that it was criminal for a civilian to swear another civilian as president.
“It is criminal for a civilian to endorse a fellow civilian to become president. This is a big joke,”he said during an interview with the a daily newspaper.
Kamama asked the government to use any means available at its disposal to quash the plans by the opposition.He called on Security CS Matiang’i, IG Boinett and the military to carefully monitor the moves of the oppositions.

The former chairman of the parliamentary committee on security said that the Chief Justice would swear in the president and that it would be unconstitutional if someone else is sworn in “in the bush”.
The Supreme court upheld the re – election of president Kenyatta on October 26. Asman Kamama called on NASA to respect the democratic right of those who chose to vote after the nullification.
He condemned the parallel swearing saying that Kenya should not be the first country to do this as it was divisive.
