A private school was on Monday morning deregistered following exam malpractices that occurred ‘on or about 9 and 10 November, 2017.’

St Theresa Girls Senior School’s head was served with a deregistration notice from Education PS Dr Belio Kipsang, that will be effective 1 December, 2017.

”It has been decided that the registration of your school as provided for in the basic Education act, 2013, be revoked with effect from 1st December 2017,” the letter read.

The school was asked to immediately handover its current certificate to the County Education Board secretary.
