There was a huge traffic snarl up on Juja Road after pupils from St Teresa Primary in Nairobi took to the streets to air their concerns over road safety in the area.
The pupils dressed in full school uniform, decried safety concerns in the area urging authorities to erect a flyover, zebra crossing and bumps on the road near their school.

Sources say speeding motorists often pose a huge risk to school going children, with casualties reported in the recent past.
Pictures and videos from the protests have since surfaced online causing an uproar from members of the public.
A section of Kenyans on Twitter criticized the school administration for letting the pupils roam along the busy road on their own.
On his part, Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko, took to his Facebook page to commit quick intervention to the state at Juja Road.
“Following recent concerns on the state of Juja road I have directed my Roads and Transport department to immediately construct bumps on Juja road. I have also ordered the county engineers to put road markings on the busy road to reduce cases of road accidents along Juja road,” Sonko said.
