Nairobi county First Lady on Tuesday rescued a family that has been living in a car for the past two years in Kibra Constituency.
Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko’s wife Primrose Mbuvi came to the family’s aid after their story was highlighted on KTN.
Ms Mbuvi has offered to get the family a temporary shelter and have the children admitted to school.
“The First Lady has offered to provide a temporary shelter for the father of two who is currently living inside an abandoned car in Makina,” Sonko shared on social media.

The man, Ishmael Abdalla Khamis and his two sons Talib and Said Ishmael have been living in the car after his water business came crumbling in 2013. Shortly after, his wife left him and abandoned their kids.
