Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has put on notice those accused of grabbing public land.
The county boss on Thursday ordered that the below land owners vacate the premises and remove their valuables from the public utilities.
Among them are: proposed land for Gigiri and Ruaraka firestations, Highridge hospital in parklands, New muthaiga thigiri ridge county dispensary and Nursery school.
Sonko has also asked those occupying the grabbed Pumwani hospital expansion structures, Eastleigh county Market, Mwariro county market, Lang’ata primary school land, St. Catherine primary school land, Buruburu girls school land, Martin Luther primary school land and Kamkunji Secondary school land to vacate with immediate effect.
Also on the long list of public grabbed land is Lang’ata secondary school land, grabbed land reserved for South C market and the land reserved for Nyayo estate police post.
“Better be a one term Governor and leave a legacy than entertaining grabbing of public land or utilities,” a tough talking Sonko said.
He also added that the exercise will see him lose his multi million shilling plot in Buru Buru. Also on the losing end will be nominated MP Maina Kamanda.

He further noted that any county or NEMA official who conspired with grabbers to approve building plans on public utilities will also be prosecuted alongside the aforementioned suspected grabbers.
This comes after a multi-agency task force of the Nairobi River regeneration brought down the Sh1 billion South End mall which was put up on riparian land.
Word also has it that Nakumatt Ukay, Taj Mall and Westgate could also be reduced to rubble.
