Former National Hospital Insurance Fund CEO and Devolution Secretary Simeon ole Kirgotty was on Friday morning arrested alongside two others over Sh1.5 Billion graft.
Kirgotty was arrested alongside Robert Mureithi (head of Webtribe) and Gilbert Gathuo (Head of ICT).
They were reportedly picked up from their Nairobi homes and are currently being held at the DCI headquarters along Kiambu Road.
The insurer sent the current chief executive Geoffrey Mwangi on compulsory leave after he was apprehended alongside finance director Joseph Mbuvi for failing to provide documents required in a Sh100 million corruption case.

The two were on Wednesday released on a Sh1 million bond each and a surety of similar a amount. Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi also gave them an option of Sh500,000 cash bail.
Mr Mwangi was replaced with Mr Nicodemus Odongo who has been serving as the director in charge of strategy, planning and Marketing while Kurgat was replaced by Bernard Njenga, who has been the manager in charge of management and accounting.
