“The contamination was flagged yesterday and notices issued in the buildings against using tap water. Some of the buildings affected include I&M, which houses Standard and KTN offices as well as I&M Bank; Postbank, which has Postbank and Ministry of ICT offices, as well as Pioneer House,” reports the blog.

Those using the offices are forced to buy or carry their own water, even as cases of people affected by the water are being reported. However, there is still no official report on the extend of infections caused by the contamination.

The Nairobi Water and Sewerage company team is yet to solve the issue despite being on ground since Tuesday. They are yet to issue a statement concerning the issue.
