17 year old Linda Atieno, a form three student in Ochieng’a Secondary School was strangled to death by her boyfriend on Wednesday, 6 September.
The suspect is said to have gone to the girls home at around 9pm where they were supposed to be meeting.

Reporting the incident, Johanna Chebii, the area police said that Atieno was strangled and cut with a panga. She was taken to Odede dispensary where she died while undergoing treatment.
The suspect surrendered himself to a nearby police station. He will be arraigned as the police carry out investigations.
