State House has been accused of faking a congratulatory letter from Israel.
The letter allegedly written by Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is reportedly fake as his signature on the Kenyan congratulatory letter is different from his signature on other letters.

This comes after reports that Kenya through the Foreign affairs ministry was pushing for and soliciting congratulatory messages from other States with over 40 countries having congratulated President Uhuru Kenyatta by yesterday.

Western Diplomats seemed to have toned down the apparent endorsement of Kenyatta after wide criticism by Opposition terming them “enemies of Kenya.” Sources claim a number of diplomats have shied away from congratulating President Kenyatta until next week when he will be inaugurated.
