Many are yet to distinguish between an influencer and a brand ambassador in the ever growing social media.

Influencers have a following in a particular niche, which they actively engage with and have the power to affect purchase decisions. The size of the following depends on the size of the niche while ambassadors are hired by an organization or company to represent a brand in a positive light and by doing so help to increase brand awareness and sales.

Besides being under contract, the person is going to be the company’s image and representative in the market.
