National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate, Raila Odinga will not run in 2022 should he lose the August 8 poll.
Salim Lone, the opposition leader’s spokesman while speaking to Hot 96 on Wednesday morning said this would be Odinga’s last time running for the country’s top seat.
”Unfortunately it will be his last time running for the Presidency but I do not get a sense of him losing.”
Salim said that the 72 year old has a lot of energy to lead the the country for the next five years.
He insisted that NASA would lead Kenyans to Canaan saying that it would be a first round win for them dismissing the recent polls suggesting a possible run off.
Mr Lone also said that the incumbent, Uhuru Kenyatta would lose the elections because he had failed Kenyans and they no longer trusted him.
When asked if NASA would accept defeat, the communications director said they would accept results of ‘a free and fair exercise.’
Odinga has unsuccessfully vied for the Presidency three times before.
