A mother of two interrupted Deputy President, William Ruto’s speech during his visit to Eldama Ravine over the weekend.
The woman fought the security detail around the DP insisting that she only wanted to have a word with him.
Ruto, paused and asked the officers to let the woman wait for him at the podium.
Shortly after addressing the crowd, the DP left the venue aboard his chopper but did not talk to the unidentified mother of two.
It is said that after he left, the woman was heard saying that she did not have food for her children and was in dire need of a job.
