The foreign envoys have told to respect Uhuru Kenyatta’s presidency before dialogue can take place, the envoys said that the supreme court upheld the election of October 26 and that the decision must be respected by the opposition.
They said that that Raila Odinga should forfeit the position he took as the peoples presidency.

The envoys from 11 countries also castigated the government’s decision to crack down on opposition leaders, media stations and the disobedience of court orders. They said that a free media and civil society ensure that the public is accurately informed and were also mediums to facilitate dialogue.
The envoys urged the government and the police to respect the rights of any arrested persons.
The statement was signed by Robert Godec of the United Sates of America, Nic Hailey from the United Kingdom and Sara Hradecky from the the Canadian High Commisioner.
