The Ngirita Family seem to be going all out to clear their name by starting the Ngirita Foundation which had planned to supply sanitary towels, underwear and a free medical camp for the people of Naivasha.
The siblings Ann and Jeremiah Ngirita are rumored to have organized the event which comes ahead of their planned “demand by the public”, a massive demonstration to be held in support of the family to be allowed bail.

Kenyans on twitter started the hashtag #MtuWetuNonesense to oppose the demonstrations normally held by the accused’s home people to show support despite their crimes. One user mentioned that this is the mentality that enables the fuelling of corruption.
Jeremiah Ngirita is rumored to be eyeing 2022 parliamentary seat in the area.
The poster circulated to advertise the event listed RedCross as one of its partners but the organization has come out to refute the event as fake and said that they are not in any partnership with the family.
The family is still being held in remand while their mother Lucy Ngirita was recently admitted at the Kenyatta National Hospital.
