The Recce Squad on Tuesday morning broke into billionaire businessman, Jimmy Wanjigi’s Muthaiga home looking to arrest him.

The officers on Monday camped outside his home but could not get in as all the doors remained closed.

The business mogul has been accused of being in possession of fire arms. Five AK-47 rifles and 93 bullets were recovered in his Malindi home.

He is said to be hiding in an underground shelter.

Officers were outside the home in the morning with tools including sledge hammers.

It has been said that the state is trying to frame Wanjigi for decamping to NASA.
