Rebecca Mbithi Appointed As New Family Bank CEO

Family Bank has appointed its Company Secretary and Director, Legal Services MsRebecca Mbithi as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

She replaces David Thuku who resigned in September last year.

“Rebecca is a highly experienced professional with an extensive background in leadership in various organizations at director level specializing in law, project finance, Corporate Restructuring, Equity/ Debt raising and Governance,” read a statement from the bank.

Ms Mbithi holds a Masters in Business Administration degree from United States International University (USIU) and a Law degree from the University of Nairobi.

She has previously worked at Kenya Tea Development Agencies (KTDA) and Rift Valley Railways.

At Family Bank, she has been instrumental in Strategy and Business Development, Capital and Debt Raising, Risk Management, Compliance and Controls, providing legal services and strengthening the Bank’s Governance structure.
