Political Analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has said that NASA flagbearer Raila Odinga’s stunt to withdraw from the October 26 elections was a ‘sick joke.’
According to Mutahi, Odinga did not sign form 24A, rendering his withdrawal null and void.
The analyst says that the former Prime Minister was awaiting the High Court’s ruling on whether to include Thirdway Party Alliance’s Ekuru Aukot on the ballot.
Raila DID NOT WITHDRAW. It was a SICK JOKE. He did not SIGN form 24A. Had to WAIT for AUKOT ruling before signing 24A. Raila is in the RACE!

The court on Wednesday ruled in favour of Aukot; all the presidential candidates will be on the ballot apart from Cyrus Jirongo who was declared bankrupt on Monday.
Odinga withdrew his candidacy on the basis that the IEBC was not taking into account their ‘irreducible minimum’ requirements but were out to hold elections within the 60 days as directed by the Supreme Court.

Raila, during an interview on Radio Jambo stated that he was willing to dialogue with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
He refuted claims that he was trying to cause chaos in the country.
”As Kenyans we are ready to solve our problems. I am ready to sit down and have talks that will solve this stalemate and create peace in this country,” he said.
