‘Democrat’ Raila Using Violence To Ensure No Voting In Nyanza – DP Ruto

Deputy President William Ruto has accused NASA leader, Raila Odinga of trying to use violence to stop the people of Nyanza from exercising their civic duty.

The former Premiere has asked his supporters to boycott the fresh elections happening on October 26.

His call has seen the IEBC officials harassed while conducting training. On Wednesday, Odinga’s sister Ruth Odinga and Kisumu Senator Fred Outa stormed an IEBC training saying that they were not taking part in the repeat elections.

DP Ruto has accused Odinga of sponsoring the current riots against the electoral body.

”So,the democrat,Mr Odinga will sponsor violence using his supporters & family to ensure there is no IEBC & no voting in nyanza? Surely!!!” Ruto said.

The deputy party leader, Jubilee has said that the violence in the lake region were tools of a ‘tyrant, despot and dictator.’

”The riots against elections causing destruction & loss of life; violence targeting IEBC in nyanza are tools of a tyrant, despot & dictator,” he said.

The President during the Mashujaa Day Celebrations maintained that the elections would go on as scheduled. He warned Odinga against trying to stop the elections.

Raila asked his supporters to await the next course of action on the eve of the polls.

He asked his supporters to maintain peace.
