The National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga is at his Opoda farm home in Bondo, Siaya County to ‘strategize his next move which includes a possible swearing in on 12 December’, according to sources close to the Premier.
Odinga landed in Kisumu for the first time yesterday evening since the boycotted October 26 repeat Presidential elections amidst tight security and to a rousing heroic welcome with a multitude of residents who had thronged the airport on learning of his presence demanding to swear him in right there.
Leaders who received him at the Kisumu International Airport were by Governor Anyang Nyong’o.
Sources privy to the Opposition leader’s itinerary say he plans to relax with his family and plan for his next course of action in a serene atmosphere devoid of political interference but that a detailed program on the next course of cation will be unveiled to his supporters in due course.
NASA has already unveiled a seven-member committee led by its Chief Economic Strategist David Ndii, that will guide coalition on the way forward of the People’s Assembly to press for a people driven government.
It has been tasked with tabling results before December 12, when Raila is set to be ‘sworn in as the people’s president’. So far 15 counties have passed the motion accepting the People’s assembly.

Why are jubilee supporters so obsessed with Raila’s 12/12/17 swearing in ceremony? If you guys believe it’s illegal why bother? As NASA supporters we’re set to swear in our president just the same way jubilee swore in Uhuru whom they presumably believe is their president. 75% of Kenyans don’t recognize Uhuru as president period.
