According to eye witnesses, the ODM supremo was in the town to campaign for his election when some residents started becoming unruly, shouting him down and when those didn’t work, they threw stones at his convoy forcing him to cut short his visit.

Raila was earlier heckled in Kenol while campaigning, forcing the police to restore order. He was shouted down with chants of “Tano Tena” and “Tuko Pamoja” when he insisted that he is not the enemy of Kikuyus.
