Speaking on Radio Jambo, Odinga said that the ‘well wishers’ will not get a refund of the money contributed even after his withdrawal from the presidential race.
He explained that the monies were used as they came in.
”The money was being used as it came in. We are not a bank to keep the money. We asked Kenyans of goodwill to contribute and they did and we spent it in our activities,” he said.
The opposition supporters have been questioning the whereabouts of their contributions citing the fact that ‘Baba’ did not campaign as did the Jubilee party.
The former Prime Minister withdrew his candidacy and accused the IEBC of not making changes as was required in the Supreme Court judgement that nullified the August 8 elections.
