Raila To Call For Boycott Of Companies Involved In Bungling August Elections

safaricomNASA flag bearer, Raila Odinga has said that he will call for economic boycott of companies that he believes were involved in ‘sabotaging’ his election and the interests of Kenyans.

Speaking at the Okoa Kenya offices, Odinga noted that among the companies that will be facing the boycott will be mobile operator, Safaricom.

He, on Tuesday accused the telco company of having colluded with the IT firm OT Morpho and IEBC to rig the elections in favour of Jubilee party and President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Odinga also held talks with Maa community leaders who assured him of their support come October 26.

He also said that he has in his possession evidence of vote rigging in one of the polling stations in Narok. He alleges that the number of votes cast was more than the number of registered voters.

In August, Siaya Senator James Orengo asked NASA supporters to boycott Nation Media products.
