President Uhuru Kenyatta surprised pedestrians and by standers as he took a walk from his Harambee House office to the National treasury meeting that is just 200m away from his office.
The president elect was accompanied by his chief of staff Joseph Kinyua and spokesman Manoah Esipisu. Though all traffic had been redirected the president stopped to greet pedestrians.

President Uhuru had gone to attend a meeting with his economic team and partners to chart a way froward for Kenya’s Economic transformation.
