A female tout has accused two female police officers based at the Huruma Police Station of forcing her to strip naked after she openly refused to give them a Sh.400 bribe.
Speaking to KTN News, Teresiah Mumbi, mother of one says the female cops arrested her alongside other touts on May 15 for a traffic offence.
“They demanded a Sh.400 bribe and when it was not forthcoming, they locked us up,” she lamented.
Ms Mumbi, 31, says the unidentified officers humiliated her when they asked to confirm her gender owing to the fact that she is bearded.
“Those two female officers came and demanded that I undress and I put my legs apart. After they were satisfied they let me back to the cell,” Mumbi added.
She also said that she stayed away from work for a couple of days as she is afraid of the incident re-occurring in public.

“I even stopped working. I do not want another incident like that. Is this justice? if these are the officers mandated to provide security, what will happen to me in public?” she posed.
Ms Mumbi has since filed a complaint at Huruma Police Station and is threatening to take legal action against the officers.
