The car believed to have been used to kidnap slain Sharon Otieno and journalist Barack Oduor.

Police believe the black fielder saloon car that is used as a taxi in Migori was used for the kidnapping of the two.

The driver Jack Gombe of the vehicle was arrested and arraigned  at the Oyugis Law courts where he was charged with being an accomplice to murder.

“We are holding the vehicle. We also arrested the driver,” said a DCI officer privy to the arrests told The Standard.

According to police in Migori the vehicle used in the kidnapping was seen being driven around by a senior county official who might have hired it unknowingly.

Migori County police commander Joseph Nthenge  however could not confirm any arrest or presence of any vehicle but said that two people had been interrogated in relation to the death of the Ms. Otieno
