Police Kill Four Suspected Thugs in Karatina

The thugs robbed the owner of Kariara Wholesalers, Elias Mureithi, after storming his wholesale shop at 9am, just few minutes after he opened the shop. The thugs ordered all to lie down before getting away with Sh70,000.

Police were informed through the 999 dispatch line. They tracked the thugs to Karatina town killing four of them outside Brookfield High School along the Sagana-Karatina. Police recovered two AK 47 rifle, rounds of ammunition and a rifle from the dead suspects.

Police say they also recovered some money and unused airtel cards.
