
The magistrate handling the matter of Pastor Ng’ang’a of the Neno Evangelism has been questioned on the decision to acquit the pastor who was accused of murdering a woman and injuring her husband through reckless driving.
According to the ODPP the magistrate did not give the reasons for the acquittal but instead opted to adjourn the reasons to May 7.

Senator Mutala Kilonzo Junior has however accused the office of the DPP for failing to present sufficient evidence .
Lawyer Duncan Ondimu accused the magistrate of not basing his arguments on law and facts. He said that if the magistrate had valid reasons for acquittal he would have read the complete judgement instead of deferring to a later date.
Kenyans online seemed outraged by the decision of the judge and even asked that he acts as a man of God nd offer an apology to the family of the bereaved.
The ODPP has vowed to appeal the decision after the magistrate gives reasons for acquittal.
