French IT Firm OT Morpho providing the IEBC with the KIEMs kits is rebranding to IDEMIA.
The firm rebrands following a merger with Oberthur Technologies (OT) and Safran Identity & Security (Morpho) in May 2017.
The change will according to the IDEMIA CEO Didier Lamouche, reflect its position as global leader in the digital sector.
Mr Lamouche also added that the firm will continue to uphold its mission of providing an expertise in trusted identities to ensure a safer world and its commitment to building a new offer capable of revisiting the world of digital security.
The France based IT company has however been accused by NASA principal, Raila Odinga of colluding with the IEBC to rig the annulled presidential election.

Odinga has maintained that OT Morpho allowed unauthorised access to its servers and manipulated the transmission of results.
The IT firm has however denied the allegations and has threatened to sue for libel and defamation.
